Our project this month was to do our own version of Misty Mawn's amazing style. This is the front side of my project. I did layers of inks, paints and rubber stamps. I printed the wings out. • I am in a swap on swap bot where we are making Art Money. When I saw a package from Ruth Rae, I thought, OMG, was I her partner?? YES, I got the most beautiful art money from Ruth Rae. It was also beautifully wrapped and tied. Her work is magnificent. When I saw her blog last week I thought, If only I were the lucky recipient to receive her work. I DID... Thank you Ruth...

    Favorite Techniques-Altered Art Obsession

This month we chose one of our favorite techniques to use on ATC cards. I chose to do a laser printer transparency. The background is text from an old book adhered to cardstock. On 3 of these I did a wash of white over the text then added gold to the cardstock where the image is see-thru. I machine sewed them on.

This could be my next "severe" addiction...

  • I absolutely LOVE these charm bracelets. Just what I need to do is start "another" project. I just can't resist them. I'm already into altered art, so what can a few charm blanks and a few more tools hurt? hehehe...
